Woodland Park Zoo Open House

What a very lovely, gracious evening!

R&D (Rented Elegance & Design) went all out and created a silver, candlelit wonderland.  Here is the ceremony area.

Candelabras lined the aisle, tree trunks with candles framed the bridal arch.

The head table was lusciously decorated with floral arrangements, candles in glass with birch bark tied about them, and a wall of votive candles.

Julie of Julie's Bakery was there.  What a sweet gift for me.  Julie creates 100% gluten-free cakes, cupcakes, breads and cookies.  I tasted the chocolate cupcakes.  Made with Belgium chocolate, they are absolutely delicious!!!!  These are the best gluten-free cupcakes I've eaten.

Isaac and JoJo of Bamboo Beats was also there.  They really set a great musical tone to the evening.

And, we were treated so very well.  It was a plated dinner - chicken, beef and vegetarian - prepared by Chef Blair and his staff at Lancer Catering.  Followed by dessert plates and coffee or tea.

I don't think I have ever seen the Rainforest Pavilion look better.  A great site for a wedding (or any type of celebration).

Other wonderful people who attended the event were:
A La Mode Pies
Robert Jacobs and Dasha Wright of Hope Sping Photography
Safeway cakes
Marion Clifton of Banquet & Event
and us, of course!
