Jamin and Alicia - A Seattle City Wedding

Alicia and Jamin are a wonderful couple! Their wedding day was a blend of traditional (the ceremony took place at All Pilgrims Church), historic (the reception was at the Lake Union Cafe) and playful (photos at fun places and interesting footwear).

The ladies were sophisticated, each dressed in their preferred version of the "little black dress." So practical for later use. And they were prepared for inclement weather with their unique footwear.

T
he men, meanwhile, were enjoying themselves: hanging loose and having fun.

A
licia had a moment before the ceremony for this elegant photograph.

Loved the whimsy of the "ring pillow" ... and the definite cute factor of the pumpkin bearer and flowergirl.

The nuptuals were exchanged at All Pilgrim's Church.

Then, on to the Lake Union Cafe for the reception. A good time was had by all!

And, as the evening drew to a close, Alicia and Jamin, a very happy married couple, made their get away!!!

Photos are thanks to Niki Desautels of NJD Photography.

Tyler and Brittany - Wedding Anniversary on Valentine's Day

Last year I had to honor to officiate for Brittany and Tyler. They selected the ultra-romantic Valentine's Day to share their wedding vows and celebrate their marriage.

Britt is an amazing organizer and planned every detail. Their colors were chocolate and pink. Of course, her wedding dress was pink, too. A very good color for her.

The ladies were beautiful and excited about the upcoming festivities.

The guys were polished and exuberant. Ready to stand by the "man of the day."

The ceremony and reception were held at the Sahalee Country Club. Being a night wedding, candles were used to bring out the softness and highlight the intimacy of the evening.

Monty, their West Highland Terrier, was a star. Looking quite the dashing dog, he was a show stealer.

The table settings were "sweet," creative and playful.

The centerpieces reflected Ty's love of golf and the location. As did the cake topper.

A very happy Valentine's Day. A day to remember for many years to come!

Thanks to Becker Photography for their images.
