Intimate Wedding - Think of the Seymour Conservatory

If you're planning an intimate wedding soon (until February 22nd), you have a unique and amazing choice: the Chihuly exhibit at the W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory at Wright Park.

K
ent and I, along with my sister and brother-in-law saw it today. Incredible! You know I love gardening ... this is such an inspiring merger of plants and art.

The conservatory, which features a 12-sided dome and over 3,000 panes of glasses, is always an affordable and totally sweet place. Its permanent collection has more than 550 plant species and changes monthly. This month it is tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, cyclamen, azaleas and cinerarias. The flower scents envelope you as you walk in. And the first sight to greet you is this "fiery" composition.

There were Niijima Floats (2005) in the koi pond and Colbalt Fiori (2007) among the permanent collection of plants.
Think this is part of the Macchia series. Loved the colors.

And, here is where most couples choose to exchange their wedding vows.

Not marrying this month? The Seymour is still a great place to bring your sweetheart! I brought mine.
