Where the Perfect Place to Wed in Spring?

Beautiful bride, handsome groom, lovely garden!

Yes, in the Pacific Northwest, there are so many amazing places.  One of them is Lakewold Gardens.  Robert and Christina were so very lucky to enjoy good weather plus the perfect bloom of rhodies and tulips and daffodils.  Spectacular!
Wedding colors were a deep purple, which was quite striking.  Christina also chose the fleur-de-lis as the theme for the wedding.  Her married name will be French, you see.

And, she also crafted all the programs, signs for her husband-to-be and her, the mother of the bride and the father of the groom.  She did a great job.

There were lavender sachets for the guests.

Even the cake was decorated with the fleur-de-lis.  Loved how everything tied together.

The young ladies were all excited about the big day.  Since the wedding was an intimate affair, everyone knew each other well.

The importance of family is primary for Christina and Robert.  Here they are with their three Christina's daughter, Caylin, and her son, Kai, and Robert's son, Kyle.

Wishing them all a happy and healthy life together!

Professional photos to follow by Kyle and Patrick of Luna Bella.  These were taken on my Droid.  Everything was so beautiful, I couldn't restrain myself.

Music was provided by Dani Li on violin.

Deception Pass -- What Could be Better for a Wedding CeremonyThan There!

Rebekah and Austin waltz to their own music!
Isn't this a great wall?

There are some weddings that are simply fun --Rebekah and Austin created one of them.

We all gathered -- about 20 or so people -- at their place near Fisherman's Terminal. Folks drove quite a distance to get there.  If I remember correctly, from Denver and other places many miles away.

It was a stunning day:  sunny, warm, clear.  The bride and groom really lucked out.

This is North Beach with views of both
the Sound and the channel.
From there was traveled caravan-style to Deception Pass.  We gathered at the parking lot nearest North Beach and hiked the .7 mile trail to their perfect spot.  Even Grandma made her way there!

The ceremony was unique and included a hand fasting and an exchange of personal vows.

Rebekah:
I look at you today just like any other day, Austin, and I know how perfect you are for me.

Cuddles are so good!
Austin:
There is no other person in my life, Rebekah, whom I would rather be with.
I love you.

The happy couple -- all smiles!
It truly suited the two of them.

Wishing the Mr. and Mrs. the very best in their pursuit of happiness and connection and expression of their creative talents!

Warm Wedding Vows on a Cool Mountain

Crystal Mountain is truly an incredible place to share "I do's!"  It was the perfect wedding venue for Jason and Kelli.  The two love the mountains, the snow, the tress, the fresh air ... plus it holds many enjoyable memories for them.

And, now it will remind them of their wedding day!  The two exchanged their first look atop of the mountain.

There were so many places to take photos.  The guys were looking quite dandy in the green vests and green Converses.

The ladies were looking stunning!  And the colors look wonderful.

Together, they were a good-looking group!  (The weather was fairly dry -- the clouds would settle every now and then, creating a romantic look.)

Plus, it was a family event!  The three boys were adorable.

The ceremony and reception took place in a beautifully decorated tent on the patio.

Rich presented one of the readings that spoke of the friendship that Kelli and Jason obviously share.

The bride and groom were very excited to be Mr. and Mrs!

Yup, there was a lot of kissing that day.  It was a joy to see.
The couple shared a sweetheart table --
it seems a very popular idea over the last few years.

Do they look happily married
or
what?

Wishing Jason and Kelli the very best.

Kody and Christina Ring in the New Year as Newlyweds!

Christina loves Kody = Mr. and Mrs.
What a great way to begin a new year -- to marry the person you love!

So who are Christina and Kody?

Their song:  "Desperado"
Their adventures:
  Backpacking Europe
  Scuba diving in Greece
Their proposal:  The Alps
Their wedding venue:
  Lake Union Cafe

Yes, they like to travel and to try new things!

Since the two are currently living in California, we prepared their ceremony via Skype and phone and email!  Love technology.

Getting married in December in Seattle can be a very uncertain weather experience.  But look ... there's some sun!  How lucky is that.

Guys ready?  Check.

 Gals ready? Check.
The Lake Union Cafe was looking
its historical and beautiful best.

Let the ceremony begin!

New Year's Eve is a time to remember the past and celebrate the future.  As Kent officiated and shared the "story" of Christina and Kody, the guests laughed a bit, had their hearts touched a bit, sighed a bit.

Vows were said and rings exchanged.

A kiss sealed the deal!!!

Married!  How good is that!!

Wishing Kody and Christina a lifetime of adventures and happiness wherever they go.

Thanks to Katie and Joshua Studios for the great images!

Riccardo Marries Brenda at the Hotel 1000

What a beautiful day for a wedding!  When Seattle is sunny, there is no place like it.

Brenda and Riccardo were all smiles.
The groom and bride stood by their sons.

Their wedding is a marriage of two adults and a union of four young men.  All four - Enzo, Marco, Mateo and Maxx - gained an additional person in their lives who loves them and is committed to providing for and caring for them.

The ceremony was an intimate affair at the Hotel 1000, a wonderful setting.
There was a moment of prayer.

A unique reminder of a special day.

T
his was followed by a family ceremony.  Each person selected a rock to represent them and carefully placed it in the vase.  Then, Brenda and Riccardo poured sand to fill the spaces, signifying the love and support that is in the boys' lives.

Personal vows were exchanged and then Maxx presented the rings.

And the vows were sealed with a KISS!

Bubbly to celebrate the wedding day.

A toast to the couple and their family!!!

Post Alley is nearby ...
a great place for photos.

Here are some words from Brenda and Riccardo regarding their experience:

"We were looking for an officiant who would help provide the religious portion of the marriage ceremony for us and also help us incorporate our children in the ceremony, which was a big priority. We were also looking for someone who would work with us to create the right ceremony, not just use a cookie cutter version. We had a ceremony that felt like "us" and was deeply meaningful to us.
A very happy couple!

They immediately connected with us.  Their upbeat, personal service was amazing and they made the whole process so easy."

Wishing Brenda and Riccardo a lifetime of married bliss ~
