Snoqualmie Point Park Hosts Mark and Alex's Ceremony

Some times there is rain, some times there is sun but the most dramatic times are the ones in between. It was an unbelievably dramatic sky on the afternoon of Alex and Mark's wedding.

They selected the fairly new Snoqualmie Point Park as the site of their vow exchange. The view is breath taking: an unobstructed view of Mt. Si. Arriving guests meandered up the gentle curving path to the ceremony site where they were greeted by the sweet notes of harpist, Susi Hussong.

Alex arrived by limosine and took the steeper climb to the site, escorted by her brother, Xavier. They did so to keep the tradition of the "first look" when the bride walked down the aisle.

Sun dappled the mountain top as the ceremony commenced. A blessing by nature, to be sure.
When the nuptials were complete, the skies brightened even more. It was as if Nature herself was smiling on the bride and groom.
The guests set off to the Salish Lodge for cocktails and appetizers, while the family photographs were taken.

Mark and Alex took their times and enjoyed many romantic moments along the way.

Whenever the two were together, there was joy and happiness!

First day as a married couple ended well: with a kiss of course!
