Kent and I always head to the photo booth at wedding receptions. Sad face ... I wasn't able to attend this one ... so Kent went looking for trouble.
He found Hunter and Chase, the ring bearers. Both were wearing their "Ring Security" t-shirts and ready for action.
The three had a pretty good time, I'd say.
Lauren sent along the photos. So glad she did!
Photobooths are just plain fun!
Thank you for thinking of us, but... Pat Stimac is no longer with us. She joined her angels July 20, 2016 after a two year bout with cancer. Kent Buttars stopped officiating weddings at the end of 2017. Thanks to our thousands of couples over the last 20 years for the happiness they brought, and to our many valued friends in the wedding industry.

Jonathan and Aiza are Engaged - Will wed in the Summer 2014
We met Aiza and Jonathan in May. Just the month before, they traveled to the Philippines, which is where this photo was taken.
The two have been together since June 19, 2003, and
will be getting married on August 2, 2014, at Rock Creek Gardens.
They will be including elements from their Filipino heritage in the ceremony -- which is always engaging. It is going to be a wonderful experience.
We're very much looking forward to being a part of their wedding day!
If you are planning a wedding and would like to include elements from your heritage, please give us a call at 206-789-9788 or contact us through our website.

Rain Doesn't Dampen Ryan and Sarah's Wedding At Rock Creek Gardens
Friends are good, especially friends who introduce you to the love of your life. For Ryan and Sarah, it was one of their bridesmaids, Crystal, and one of their groomsmen, Brian.

The guys were dressed and ready to go.
And the ladies were jumping with joy!
This is Sarah and Ryan's first look.
It was raining lightly by the time the ceremony began. Sarah and Ryan weren't bothered by it a bit.
Everything looked so beautiful!

There were some very special elements in the ceremony. One of my favorites is creating a circle from rose petals within which Sarah and Ryan exchanged their vows.

The bride and groom decided to do a handfasting. They asked family members to drape each of the cords to reflect the aspects they value in their relationship. For example, the green cord is the cord of renewal. It was the wish for their love to be the wellspring that nourishes the two, refreshes them and allows them to share their inner selves.
Sarah crafted this ceramic ring box.

Afterwards, Ryan and Sarah presented each other a red rose. Their first gift to each other. A symbol of their true and abiding love.
Then it was time for the kiss to seal their vows.
Mr. and Mrs. were so very happy!!!
Afterwards, we took a moment to admire Sarah's ring and to sign the marriage documents.
Because of the rain and the number of unity elements during the ceremony, Sarah and Ryan decided to light their unity candle before cutting their cake. I really like it when we creatively think of ways to include everything the bride and groom would like to do.
The reception decor was dramatic and bright. It was perfect for the day.

As I said during the ceremony, wishing that Ryan and Sarah always remain sweethearts, helpmates and the best of friends!

Thank you so much for officiating our ceremony. Even in the
rain, it was an unbelievable experience for us as well as our guests and a perfect expression of our love for each other. Everything went so
smoothly and you helped us create a ceremony that really was special and
unique. We have framed our vow cards to forever remind us of those words we spoke on our wedding day ... words you helped us put together. Working with you was a blessing. We would love to write a review for you so that other couples can enjoy
the same experience that we were able to have, something
everyone should get to experience on their wedding day.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ~ Sarah and Ryan
