The Velveteen Rabbit

What is REAL?’ asked the Rabbit one day. . . . “Does it mean having things that buzz inside you and a stick-out handle?’

Real isn’t how you are made,’ said the Skin Horse.  “It’s a thing that happens to you.  When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with but REALLY loves you, then you become Real.

Yes, this cherished childhood story is so suitable for a wedding.  Recently, Jeff and Mary decided to include it in their ceremony and asked Jeff's mother to present it.

She secretly bought a copy of the book to give to the bride and groom as a wedding present and keepsake of te ceremony.  She also purcased a stuffed rabbit ... and on the "bum" of the bunny had te following words embroidered.

Isn't this the cutest?  It was a wonderful surprise for the bride and groom!  I loved it!!!  How thoughtful and creative.

Heartfelt gestures of connection and love are such an important part of a wedding ceremony.  We welcome unique and delightful ideas when we co-create ceremonies.  Bring your dreams, your musings, your visions and give us a call at 206-789-9788 or contact us through our website:  www.aheavenlyceremony.com
