Peter and Tiffiny's Wedding Ceremony - A Family Affair

April brings more than showers: it brings wonderful weddings too.  And this April day was absolutely perfect!

Tiffiny and Peter, along with their immediate families, gathered on the Falls Terrace of the Salish Lodge for their intimate ceremony.

The candles on the table are from their parents' wedding ceremony.  Now that is tradition.  And each year on their anniversary they renew their vows and relight the candle.  Peter and Tiffiny plan to do the same. 

The two asked their parents to share some words of wisdom  with them.  The bride and groom are obviously close to their folks and it really meant a lot to Peter and Tiffiny.

along with personal words expressing their love for each other.  

There is certainly nothing more heart-warming than that!

July at Snoqualmie Falls ...

   a wedding at the Salish Lodge

All is good!

Thomas and Shaina took wedding photographs in the woods near the Falls.

And there are SO many places to pause and to enjoy a kiss ...

near the railroad trestle ...

by the river ...

All quite romantic.

Shaina was striking!  A beautiful bride.

The wedding party was dressed and polished and ready to celebrate.








Thomas's grandparents, Jerry and Lois, presented a prayer blessing the couple.  (I love personal touches in a ceremony.)








Then, it was time for the vows:
I promise to be faithful to you, 

  to always stand by your side.

I promise to take care of you 

  and to take care of myself.

I promise to be the banana to your soup ...

And, of course, you can't forget the kiss!

 

Mr. and Mrs. take a moment to enjoy the happiness of the moment.

The two are ready to walk the path of marriage together.

Wishing Shaina and Thomas true joy and companionship all the days of their lives.
