Anthony and Veronica Have a Twilight Wedding

Just received these photos from Paul Whittaker.  The bride and groom wed as dusk was falling.  The lights on the Skansonia Ferry created a magical glow.

Anthony awaited Veronica's walk down the aisle along with Kent.  He looks so very happy.

 


It was a sweet ceremony with promises each made to the other and to their children.
















Then it was time to seal their vows with a kiss!

And, to make it legal.  Don't they look so very happy!

Guest Book Idea That's Just Too Cute for Words

Love this idea!  Todd and Elan had this at their wedding on the Skansonia Ferry.

Bride and groom (they look like Elan and Tood) are hugging each other as they stand next to the Space Needle.  (You can see the Space Needle from the Skansonia.)  They are holding onto lines attached to balloons.  The balloons are of different colors and sizes.  Guests wrote messages to the couple and attached them to the canvas.

It is all ready to frame and will be a wonderful reminder of their wedding day!

Insights and Words from Friends are a Gift during Todd and Elan's Wedding Ceremony

Guests traveled from every corner of the United States, as well as from Canada and as far away as China, to witness Todd and Elan marry and to celebrate with the bride and groom at the Skansonia Ferry!
 
 

Elan descended the stairs to meet her stepfather, James.  The two walked arm in arm down the aisle.

 The view from the ferry is spectacular!

You can see all the way down Lake Union to the Space Needle.

Elan and Todd asked me to interview several of their friends and present their stories and reflections as a surprise to them during the ceremony.  It was a wonderful experience and all the guests loved it.

 
 

Everyone was totally happy for the newlyweds!

When I see this picture of their wedding rings, the words Todd and Elan spoke as they exchanged rings came to mind:

"Let this ring remind you of the connection between us and the love we share."

Monty and Sally's Wedding at the Skansonia Ferry

Weddings are happy occasions: everyone dressed in their party best, gathered in a great setting (in this case, the Skansonia Ferry), good food, good music, good company ... and two people totally in love. No wonder everyone is in a good mood!

The weather was perfect on Sally and Monty's wedding day! A gentle breeze, sunshine aplenty, water all around and Seattle downtown as the backdrop. (Kent and I lived aboard a sailboat for a number of years ... and love being around water.)

When Sally and Monty exchanged their vows and their rings, all eyes and ears were attuned to them.













The happy couple exited to the cheers of their guests.

From there they made their way to the second floor of the ferry where they had a moment to take in all their emotions. (This is such a good thing to do -- to just decompress and be together for a bit of time after your ceremony.)

The couple also were able to have some photos taken of just the two of them ashore.

And when it was time to "shove off," Sally and Monty headed off in style!
