Houseboat Wedding for Kristina and Jille!

Kent officiated for this wonderful couple on their friend's houseboat on Lake Union.

The day was absolutely beautiful.








A friend of theirs came by on his boat -- yup, right in the middle of the ceremony.  There was much good humor and lots of laughs, plus the taking of this photo before all returned to complete the ceremony.

Kristina and Jille emailed us after the ceremony:

          Thank you so much for a beautiful ceremony!  

           It turned out perfectly, even with the interruption!

Marriage Rights for All In Washington State

What an amazing election!  My understanding is that it is the first time same sex marriage  was passed at the ballot box in four states:  Washington, Maryland and Maine, while Minnesota struck down a ban on same sex marriage.

Kent and I have been officiating gay commitment ceremonies for decades.  Now, we can offer gay marriages.  All good!  

We believe in choice and in equal rights.  A joyous day!
