I love this trend in "guest books."
There is some type of design, such as this tree, with family and friends adding their thumbprints to create the leaves.
Some couples also encourage their guests to sign their
thumbprints or to add a wish for the couple.
Afterwards, the bride and groom can frame the creation and place it in their home.
It becomes a daily reminder of their love ... and the people who love them.
This is Shaina and Thomas's guestbook. Wishing them the very best in their marriage!
And thanks to Tom Ellis Photography for these images.

Thank you for thinking of us, but... Pat Stimac is no longer with us. She joined her angels July 20, 2016 after a two year bout with cancer. Kent Buttars stopped officiating weddings at the end of 2017. Thanks to our thousands of couples over the last 20 years for the happiness they brought, and to our many valued friends in the wedding industry.

Sneak Peek - Travis and Victoria's Garden Wedding (check out the parasol)
"Big hug to you both and thank you so much for all of your
advice, thoughtfulness and beautiful writing & officiating!"
Just received this email and these photos from Victoria.
Isn't she beautiful!!
These are the first few images ... more to come.
The wedding took place at Travis's parents' house.
"Attached you'll find a great one of THE KISS with Kent
smiling!" says Victoria. (He does look happy, doesn't he?)
Some couples meet in highly
improbable times and places. Others,
like Travis and Victoria, have known each other since childhood.
Wishing the two decades and decades of happiness.
Many thanks to Bryan Hudson for the images.

Washington Park Arboretum - A Beautiful Wedding in a Beautiful Park
Simple, elegant, natural -- a truly lovely wedding! Lindsay and Peter wanted an intimate ceremony that included their family and closest friends. They selected the Woodland Pond area of the Washington Park Arboretum.
I loved how the bridesmaid dresses mirrored that of the bride ...
and how the colors were from a muted palette.

The groomsmen wore suits that complemented the bridesmaid's dresses.
The ceremony took place within the park, where there are no cars (although a shuttle service was provided for the grandparents).
The limosine waited at the Visitor's Center, where most people parked.
Peter and Lindsay looked so very happy ...
and so very in love!
And although the day began a bit overcast, the sun came out in the afternoon.
It was a perfect day for a wedding!

The photos are a bit of a sneak peek from Corinne Krogh. More are to come.
Wishing Lindsay and Peter a life of happiness!!
I love the Arboretum and always check out the plants for sale at the Visitor's Center. This time I purchased a climbing hydrangea (plan to use it on a fence). As I followed the trail to the wedding ceremony area, I saw the plant I had just bought!! It will be perfect.

Beagles and Wedding -- the Best of Puppy Love!
What a fun wedding!
Dede and Leah planned a quick elopement ... and when their family and friends heard about it, about 15 or so made their way to the ceremony.
Including their children ... and three adorable Beagle puppies!
Just weeks old, the puppies were irresistible. Everyone wanted to pick them up and cuddle them.
Some coos were certainly in order.
And, of course, they inspired human kisses!!!!
Wishing Leah and Dede the very best in their marriage.
